Post-Concussion Syndrome Care
Head injuries are one of the most important topics in youth and professional sports today. Research is showing that repetitive head injury are at higher risk for dementia and other brain disorders.
Most people will recover from a concussion without any problems. However, roughly 10% of concussed patients will experience lingering symptoms lasting for greater than 1 month. These symptoms include:
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Brain fog
- Poor concentration
- Depression
- Neck pain
Dr. Chung has worked with concussion patients from throughout Palm Beach County due to his approach to Structural Correction. He has co-managed patients with neurologists and other leading therapists to provide novel and innovative methods to help patients recover from post-concussion syndrome.
By restoring the alignment of the head and neck, circulation of blood and cerebral spinal fluid can reduce the inflammatory burden on the brain.

Dr. Chung is also trained in the NUCCA procedure for structural correction. It is a gentle approach to the head and neck that doesn’t involve the popping, twisting, or cracking of traditional manipulation. This makes it well suited for the neurologically compromised patient.
